About Us

Dirt & Bloom started with one frustration.

If you've ever walked into a store looking for a t-shirt that actually says something about your gardening life not "Plant Lady," not "Just A Girl Who Loves Plants," not a clip-art tomato with a pun you've probably given up empty-handed too.

The gardening world is full of identity. Tomato obsessives who can name three heirloom varietals before breakfast. Compost devotees who get emotional about red wigglers. Herb witches with rosemary in every pocket. Plant parents with monsteras outnumbering their houseplants four to one. Cottage gardeners, lawn loyalists, pollinator defenders, misanthropic vegetable growers who'd rather talk to their tomatoes than their neighbors.

None of us are just "plant lovers." We're something more specific than that. The rack didn't have a tee for any of it.

So we built one.

What we make

Dirt & Bloom designs heritage-weight apparel for ten gardening tribes. Every tee is Comfort Colors 1717, heavyweight 6.1 oz, 100% ringspun cotton, garment-dyed after construction for that broken-in feel from day one. Built to be worn in the dirt, patched at the elbows, and worn again. Fades like good denim, gets better with every wash.

Every design is rooted in a real gardening identity, a real garden moment, or a real Latin name. No generic POD slop. We hold every design to a 10-dimension quality standard, and if it doesn't score 35/50, it doesn't print.

Across ten tribes:

Tomato People · Plant Parents · Compost Cult · Herb Witches · Pollinator Defenders · Cottage Garden Romantics · House Plant Hoarders · Misanthropic Gardeners · Lawn Lovers · Generational Gardeners

Why we exist

Because serious gardeners deserve apparel that speaks our language. Because the difference between a foxglove and a hellebore matters. Because the world has enough cheerful "happy plant lady" tees — but very few that capture what it actually feels like to belong to the dirt-stained tribe.

We're not making clothes for casual plant enthusiasts. We're making them for the obsessed.

Dirt & Bloom is for people who garden like it matters.

Welcome to the tribe.

Dig deep. Bloom wild.
